Hey all, I think everyone has stated their views on then topic pretty well by now. Let's stop calling each other trolls and just move on to other topics.

We've already said the VST2 issue is going to be addressed in an upcoming beta release shortly.

Not true, the huge vast majority of installers will allow the user to define the installation folder, with very few minor exceptions with Waves being one. But they are the only one I have personally experienced. Maybe you should be asking UAD why they dont allow you to chose your own installation ...

Nice to see users unhelpfully trolling these threads. Bottom line is that many plugins can only be installed to a default path. UAD being a major one. I would suggest that Ableton rollback and allow us to simply use shortcuts again, instead of expecting us to tediously copy stuff over and bloat ...

I don’t understand why people don’t simply install all their plugins to a common folder. It’s simple to do and to change the path in each installer. If you forget, most cases you can simply move the plug-in or just reinstall it correctly. Makes things so much cleaner and easier to manage.

My solution fixed it easily... roll back!

Same problem here, on the PC... was faced with 3 choices: only UAD plus VST3 or Only VST2 & 3 and no UAD, or rollback to continue working. I rolled back.
I'll remain rolled back until the shortcut link is fixed and I don't have to spend half a day faffing around to get everything working again! Sort ...

Something you can try too, that sometimes 'magically" solves issues is to re-install Live. Who knows..

Funnily enough I rebooted after a Win 10 update to find a "corrupt install", uninstalled, reinstalled, still ran like shit...

have also had to end up freezing most tracks and setting buffer to 2mb to be able to mouse up a finished track. Reverting back to to L10 until either this is fixed or I have a good enough specced laptop again.

Same here, dismayed at how little 11 can handle before glitching out everywhere

Just figured it out... was doing it in beats mode. When I switched to complex mode, it works fine. Doh!

The clip transposition envelope doesn't move smoothly from point to point, is all jerky and ugly.
