Re: Save M4L device mappings in effect racks presets
Thanks very much ! The problem comes from the AU format. I said I was using Vsts but I was actually using AU versions of the plugins. I just tried with vst 3 and vst 2 versions and it works perfectly. Thanks a lot ! I doesn't tell me why it's not working with the Au version but at least I have a wor...

Re: Save M4L device mappings in effect racks presets
In fact I just realized it actualy did work with the live devices ( instruments or effects) but with all the VST, effect or instrument it never works. I tried with UA effects, Aalto, Valhalla delay etc

Re: Save M4L device mappings in effect racks presets
Tks for your answer
I'm on Live 11, last version 11.2.5. Mac M1 version
I just retried and the mapping is completely gone, not just the name.

Save M4L device mappings in effect racks presets
Hep, I try to save my M4L device mapping in effect rack. The idea is to have pre-mapped M4L modulation device on VSTs that lack modulation ( Unfilterd Audio latest effects for instance ). That way I can recall the rack and I don't have to remap everything everytime. The problem is that it seems that...

Re: Operator Coarse modulation by ratio
Thanks, I didin't know that device. It's a good way to fake it but it's actually just a time quantization. By setting the snap parameter to 48 you can approximate the actual "mouse values" but the quantized signal don't realy fall on the exact same notes. Good workaroud though if you just ...

Operator Coarse modulation by ratio
Hello, Simple question, is there a way to modulate the coarse parameter of Operator's Oscilators by step Ratio. I explain myself: when modulating the coarse knob with a M4L LFO, the coarse parameter act as a normal pitch knob, modulating the entire range of its oscillator, creating sweeps and out of...

Midi note driven parameter sequencer
Hey, A little question for those who have a broader view on what is already existing in the M4L jungle. I'm looking for a specific type of parameter sequencer that can be clocked by incoming midi note on and not by Live's clock. A bit like in the eurorack environnement where you can replace a clock ...

Re: Live 11 (and 10): CPU usage on macOS heavily dependent on size of the window
The options.txt trick used to be a good way to lower the CPU usage on Live 10. It was not ideal as it did slow the UI but I was willing to accept it to gain some cpu power. At least you had that choice. I don't know why they disabled it in Live 11 but on my Macbook pro 13' mid 2014 I certainy can fe...
