Synthwave meets 90s Progressive House, again!

I’d like to share my next release 'Blueshift' with you, continuing with the theme of blending 80’s filmic synth vibes with 90’s progressive house, and a lovely recorded vocal chant - this is the result. I’d love to know what you think. https://youtu.be/yrixjyPxmmE Again this track was made exclusive...

Live played midi accuracy detection plugin - Drums

I’m starting to practice my drumming and playing with midi controllers for live performance and I was thinking it would be helpful to have the following - an device / plugin that would analyse midi and give you feedback of your accuracy of timing vs the grid. So you could play for a bit and it would...

How to stop conflicting midi messages from another controller ie Apc40

Just starting using a Push 2, and using it alongside my APC40 mk2, both set up as control services in preferences. It all works fine and seems to be no issues except strangely the cross fader on my APC40 when moved sends some midi message to my push, not sure quite what it is but it suddenly selects...

And you can also use it extensively in Arrangement if you have M4L, using this device.

Re: Push 2 - How extensively do you use it?

OK that's interesting to hear your experience and in some ways does sound similar to how I have envisioned push to be. However in my case my primary interest in for live performance and free form jam etc so it's not so important to incorporate into day to day producing, however I was wondering if I ...

Push 2 - How extensively do you use it?

I've just finally purchased Push 2, after many years of resisting, mainly for live performance and live jam etc. Now I'm wondering to what level I should attempt to incorporate it into my day to day production and song writing. Interested to hear if many people have strictly forced themselves to use...

Is it possible to erase notes in a clip in session with midi control?

I wish to be able to erase clear all notes in a clip in session view with the push of a midi assigned button, is this is possible? I believe this may be a very standard function with push or on a akai MPC but can this be done in session view with a normal midi assignment or with max for live? The sc...

Is there a quick way to remove duplicate tracks from DJ Set?

I have a ginormous DJ set project and due to merging it with other sets in different style groupings it contains duplicates of several tracks.

Can anyone advise on a quick way to remove the duplicate track (song clips) in the set?

Alternate midi controller setup to replace pitch bend wheel?

I've been downsizing all my live performance set up and as a result don't have a much needed pitch wheel anymore. I do a nifty x/y pad though and was thinking to use that on the x axis. The issue is I need some way of have it reset to default middle point each time I take my finger off much like a p...

Re: how to simulate heart beat ?

Use a kick drum - have 2 versions. One at original pitch the other lower pitch perhaps 5 semitones. Whack a low pass filter on top, little bit of res. Then just sequence/play a heartbeat style rhythm, da-dum space da-dum. Experiement with different kick drums and pitchings, could start with a 909 ki...
