Hello

So I have three drum racks, with short samples (already pre processed). My drive keeps alerting (top right hand corner) and maxing out , so the samples are glitching. This only happens every once in a while, but makes playing a LIVE set not very friendly.

I've got an ableton project with a few drum tracks loaded and 3 audio inputs, it's for a live performance.

I've got maybe 40 samples, maybe even less, longest sample is 1 minute long.

I now can not open the project, I've tried opening it as it was saved on two ...

I'm quite frustrated. I've loaded some samples into my drum rack, but when I play them back it just glitches, instead of playing the sample. It just spikes and flickers up and down.

What is going on?

Other samples seem to be ok.

This is doing my head in. Why when midi mapping potentiometers to say volume, midline is -12. Is there a way that the left hand side of the potentiometer is - infinitiy and say the maxiumum is what you set it at (like +12 db).

I'm midi mapping volume in drum rack. Using Simpler, I'm mapping my fader knobs to the volume. The problem is that it goes from -36db to +36db. This is too much to of a jump, which means that when I'm playing live, even small tweaks means that I add +10 or -10db to a sound, which is not great ...

Figured this one out as well. You need to map within sampler, not when you open the clips on the drum rack.

Ok, I figured it out, two channels stems, both with drum rack on them, you just need to automate volume or speaker on/off, and midi map to the same volume controls.

Maybe that is useful to someone else in the future.

Is there something that can swap out a set samples (12 to be exact) in and out automatically at a time during a set? I'm using midi controller that I made, and I want to be able to swap them automatically by automating when the device turns on and off etc.

When I'm midi mapping a volume knob from my faderfox on ableton, for some reason the volume does not start at 0 db. It starts at some random number. 0db happens to be 3pm position around clockwise on the knob and +6db at the full knob turn to the right, which means if I want to make ...

I'm playing samples using Drum rack using an external midi player that I built. What I would like to do is to automate a hot swap of all the samples (16 of them), to another different set of 16 samples, with the press of button. Is there anyway I can do that?

I'm looking for a plugin where you can see spatially where each stem is panned in a 360 degree circle. It's hard to visualise when you have a few stems on the go, I work with a lot of vocal stems panned different ways.
