Everyone who advised on this security/privacy microphone enabling issue -- I tip my cap to all of you. I was about to throw my equipment out of a window! Updated to 10.15 - reinstalled about 100 drivers for all my gear -- booted up live -- Oh! No audio! Hmm... Literally took me about 2 days to find ...
