all I want:

make a midi loop (me playing a midi drum kit to my friend playing a bass guitar)

set the session tempo to that loop i just made

make that loop into a clip

fuck around with other clips that will now play to that loop I first made.

dude, this doesn't seem to be possible on ableton. I'm so bummed.
