I have one track selected and I was wonder if there was a way to have Ableton show the clip that's playing so that the bottom clip view switches to the current clip playing instead of remaining on the last click selected (via a mouse click)?

Hi,

Is there a simple way to place takes consecutively rather than dragging an dropping? I try to copy them to session view, but I need them in one track and Ableton wants to place all the takes on the same scene.

When I do that. The clip in the starting scene stops as soon as I click a second scene.

Is there a way to clean up a file so it opens faster? I don't have much activity in the file and it seems to take a very long time to open. I use a Macbook Pro with Catelina.
