Can Roar be used as a diode compressor?

Roar really should be the most surprising thing for me with recent updates, It can set routing, colour, and has a compression function. I am curious if it can create a sound similar to a diode bridge compressor.

Any method to invert X-Y control values?

Image

As shown in the screenshot, the control of the X-axis is correct, but the direction of the Y-axis is exactly the opposite.

How to Monitoring Solo Side?

Hello Everyone. Is there any third-party plugin or Ableton native that can be used to listen to the "Side" Section of the track? Just like the Mid/Side Mode Solo of the Ozone Equalizer. I do not use the Ozone Equalizer for pure listening purposes unless it is used in the mastering stage, A...

Will 11 still be available after upgrading to 12?

Hello Everyone.

I am a user who has been using 11 suite, I would like to know if I am unable to adapt the changes in 12 after upgrading. Does my 11 permanent license still available?

Re: [Mac] Why does the synthesizer plugin automatically silence?

Maybe you’re accidentally changing the volume or filter on them with a midi controller? I have never performed such an operation. It fell silent after a period of time. Of course, such things don't always happen. Spire occasionally appears when changing presets, and then there is no sound, so it ca...

[Mac] Why does the synthesizer plugin automatically silence?

Hello everyone. I am using the Ableton Live 11 Suite on M2 Max MacBook. I found that inserting a synthesizer plugin on the midi track and running it for a period of time occasionally encounters issues with silence. It will no longer continue playing sound during any operation. And there is no signal...

Re: How to quickly or skip mapping to adjust virtual knobs?

Thank so much, everyone! :D

Nob looks so good too, but it is currently in a full order state. I just subscribed to it first.

How to quickly or skip mapping to adjust virtual knobs?

Hi Everyone! I am using a keylab mkII. Is there any way to quickly adjust various virtual knobs like a mouse? For example, clicking a virtual knob with the mouse and then adjusting it with a physical knob does not require opening the mapping browser for tedious mapping steps? For a PC keyboard, clic...

Adjusting velocity like fl studio "LFO"?

Hello Everyone. I would like to know if there is any way for Ableton to adjust its velocity like fl studio LFO? It is different from Ableton's Randomize and Groove, have multiple parameters, with real-time preview and intuitive, and during the adjustment process, the track can be played. It can adju...

A question about Low Level Mixing.

Hello everyone! I have a question, this question is a bit foolish. I often mix at Low Levels, this is because of personal habits, or think the handling of sweet spot sounds great. But this will bring a problem, if I want to achieve higher track volume in the future, faders can only increase by 6 db....

A little question about Dither.

Hello Everyone :D The general recommendation for dither processing of any music is to place it at the end. I usually Mixing and Mastering at 48kHz, then use plugin Goodhertz's Good Dither processing, and finally export using Ableton conversion to 44.1kHz. This doesn't seem to be the best processing ...

Problem when using "Volume Shaper" to make sidechain?

I saw some tutorials using volume shaper to make SC and transmit it through MIDI signal. But I found that when there is no MIDI signal to play, it will automatically return to the lowest point. This causes the SideChain track volume to be very low if no MIDI signal is being transmitted. Why is that?...

Re: How to Clip the Mastering but keep the Peak at 0?

What warp mode are you using for those FLAC files once you have them in Live? As far as I know, it has nothing to do with Warp Mode, even if I put it in other DAW. But I seem to have found a way. Put StandardClip after Maximizer. Turn on oversampling, enable the minimum-phase-filter in the settings...

Re: How to Clip the Mastering but keep the Peak at 0?

Normalize. Thank you for your reply. Whether I use clip or ceiling, and then use the export Normalize of Ableton live. The results are the same. Peak will be stretched to near 0 in phase scope. However, the screenshot above shows that peak is 0 in meter, and it is not close to 0 in phase scope. htt...

How to Clip the Mastering but keep the Peak at 0?

Hello, everyone. I've been playing some flac, I found that recently, some masters can clip the audio to - 0.3 or - 1.0, and can keep the peak at 0. how is this done? The usual clipper will clip the peak to -0.3. I did the same thing with StandardClip, and the result was that peak couldn't stay at 0....
