I have noticed in several of my Project folders there is a Backup folder. Can these be safely removed?

This is probably an oddball question, but I am trying the find an external button to attach to my PC (by USB of Bluetooth) that I could hit to effectively press F9 to start or stop recording, as sometimes depending on what instrument I'm playing it can be fiddly to press F9 or use the mouse. It's bad that Ableton don't warn you (a) before buying the upgrade, (b) when you install and if you do install (c) when you try to run Live.

Any half-decent software company would do at least one of those.

I have just noticed that under c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Ableton I have dozens of folders, one for each version of Live I've had at one time or another Live 11.1.5, Live 11.2 etc.

Is it okay to delete all but the current version?

I shall wait for you guys to find the problems before I try!

I realise this is an old thread, but I've just discovered PaulXStretch. I've been using Paulstretch in Audacity for a while. I have downloaded and installed a couple of plugins from Quiet Music (Klim and Serenity 2 Lite). They installed very easily and they are there in Live in my list of plugins. I can play the plugins but if I arm a track, press record and play something it is not recording. I'm not sure if there is som...

Does anyone have suggestions for audio effects that can give a vocal track more "body"? (Sorry, I'm not sure of a better way to describe what I mean).

Sometimes I find it helpful to duplicate a vocals track and add Simple Chorus to the second track.
