Sequence preparation
Hey guys,
I just wanted to know if there is a way to "pepare" a sequence inside the sequencer without it beeing played immediately. Like as I can have a clip playing in ableton but also can programm the next clip on the same track while the first clip is still playing.
Thanks in advance

Re: Locking midi mappings
Thx for your answer but I think this won't do it. I would have to do this in every new project and on every device over and over.
I want to lock it as a preference. No matter which project I load it should have the controller automatically mapped. Just as if it was a piece of hardware.

Locking midi mappings
Hello guys,
Does anyone know if it is possible to lock a midi controller to a specific device? I want the mapping to be made as soon as I load the device on a track and I want to be able to switch between different instances of this device sithout affecting the other instances.

Mapping different values
Hey Community,
I want to map different values of a single parameter to different pads on my launchpad. Does anyone know how to deal with this. Maybe a M4L device?
Thanks in advance.

Linking follow actions
Hey guys,
Im wondering if there is a way to link a clip's start button to another specific clip's start button. Or a little less theoretical: I use follow action on my kick and on my bass channel to trigger random transition variations. But some combinations of kick and bass transition dont fit each ...

M4L on PlugIn-Server?
Hey Guys,
as Im trying to build a live setup for a kind of self-generating music, I had to experiene once again that my laptop is lacking a lot of power. Therefor I want to build my own "vst"-Server to exclude the VSTs from my main workstation.
