Booted it up. Sketched out an idea in 30 minutes. Grinned a lot. Turned it off suitably impressed. I'll do all the setup, authorisation, admin at the weekend.

Echoing sentiments above, if you're coming from Push 2 and you already like that workflow, and your expectation is Push standalone rather than Ableton Live in a box, I think you'll love it.

It's beautifully made. It's responsive and intuitive. It's musical and it's fun. I sketched out an idea in 30 minutes without reading a word of instructions.

It's not Live in a box, it's Push standalone, which is a much better idea anyway.

I wish people understood this very point. It's a mess for ableton. I don't think is that severe, I believe Intel will produce 12th gen Elements until 2025 and 13th gen Elements until Q2 of 2026, and those modules are enough to give the Push a huge boost in terms of processing power.
