I have similar terrible performance and 128 samples seems to be the sweet spot but it still a poor performance for an M1 Pro + 32GB of Ram. When I need to record it's shit latency, I get better performance on my 2014 i7 with 16gb of Ram. My current M1 Pro can barely handle some 8 to 12 tracks with n...
