This may not be what you want to hear, but you can send that midi bass clip to an audio clip and then record it as audio. From there use something like Melodyne and Tune it. It would take just a few minutes and you would have what you want.

All of my songs are created in Ableton Live with various stages of production quality. As I learn more and improve, I go back and improve the production quality of those songs that need it.
