Beatstep (non pro) dynamic MIDI mapping
I have a regular beatstep and have checked out these various tools: https://blog.abletondrummer.com/advanced-midi-control-in-ableton-live/ http://pikub.free.fr https://raphaelquast.github.io/beatstep/ I'd like to build something personalised for my beatstep, but have no programming experience and ve...

Re: Ableton Push 3 update
I would love a Push mini. Push 2 is fantastic but too big to drop in a backpack with a laptop. Launchkey mini is decent but nowhere near as integrated, and the pots are tiny and hard to grip. Launchpad, again good but no encoders I think it could be done without hardly losing functions. Make it USB ...

Re: How to A/B a mixdown
Thanks, I'll give that a try! I had forgotten about that little crossfader in the bottom corner...

How to A/B a mixdown
Is there a quick way to A/B a mixed down project with prior unmixed one?
Does that need a version of the project making or is there a function or combination of features that can do this quickly?
Couldn't find anything on this in the manual but maybe using the wrong search terms

Re: Delete clips not used in arrangement
Thanks!
I hadn't understood the complete independence.
Maybe it would be an option to have in future, to link changes made to clips in session to the corresponding clips used in arrangement.

Delete clips not used in arrangement
I'm pretty untidy in session view and usually end up with a bunch of clips all over that are not used in my arrangement.
Is there a way to have Live purge all the ones that are unused in the arrangement view?
I can do it manually of course but I keep screwing that, and hence my arrangement, up!

Re: Push 3- please make it smaller
I love the idea of a push mini. Cut it down to 16 pads (2x8 so you can play melody and drums?), keep the screen & encoders, re-arrange the transport etc buttons. Keep it to the same width but reduce the depth. So that it snugs up to the front of a MacBook and would have about the same footprint ...
