There has to be a way to auto-enable the EXT button. I only use Live as a slave but I'm always forgetting to hit this button.

Supposedly an AutoHotKey script can hit a button inside a program but I can't find any scripting language that I can modify, and I'm not a programmer, have no idea how to ...

It was the same with VSTs and they modified that, right? Things can change my friend. This isn't DAW-altering haha

However, there is nothing about Live that screams ONLY ONE M4L DEVICE CAN BE VISIBLE AT ONCE. It's not fundamental to its operation. It's just an inflexibility.

Yep. It seems like every couple years I try to see if Live will solve some problem for me and it's always the same: It doesn't. I'm surprised in 2023 it still is rather inflexible.
