Well I am a Pro Tools user first and foremost but I have been using Live since V2 and like it a lot with its ease of use, creative features and low CPU stress.

The audio file need to have been analysed already before dropping it into the clip waveform window or Live will just analyse the audio and replace the warp markers you wish to preserve. Thus all you need to do is drag the audio file to a free clip location and let the analysis finish before hand ...
