Still an issue in 12.2

Just to make it clear - Deactivating clips should make them truly offline so they can be edited elsewhere if we can't have multiple external editors.

Kind of. I sold the Quantum 2626 and got a StudioLive III 32SX.

This is actually a workaround dealing with the issue of not being able to use multiple external applications to edit outside of Live. If we could do that, this wouldn't be a problem.

I've been dealing with this problem since building a new workstation in April. Only recently did I upgrade to Live 11, but nothing changed, so I submitted a ticket on Monday and haven't heard anything back yet.
