It might be to do with whether the switch is momentary or latching.
I've recently started using the Boss FS-1-WL to do the same. I was able to configure each of the buttons on the pedal and had to set the one assigned to play to Latch in order not to get the double trigger.

Re: Wish i could edit multiple audio clips at once like logic
I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but you can link the tracks (select the tracks you want, right click and link).
I think you can only do that in Arrangement View, but once you've done it, they are also linked in Session View. You can then fade, mute, pan etc those tracks by just ...

Re: **pitch shift** **WITHOUT tempo change** - in need of **button**
Make sure you've got Warp selected (above and to the left of the pitch shift). That should get your pitch shifted and tempo unchanged.
You can play around with the modes too to see which gives you the best result.

Re: A#/Bb Minor Pentatonic scale
Cx is C double sharp (C##).
As I recall, it is used in a scale to distinguish the note names (so you don't have, for example, a D and D# in the list of notes for the scale). In sheet music it is denoted by a bold lower case x to the left of the note.
Cx is D natural (another enharmonic equivalent ...

Re: A#/Bb Minor Pentatonic scale
You're not doing anything wrong.
A# minor scale has 7 #s in it A#, B#, C#, D#, E#, F# and G# ( the E# is F)
The A# minor pentatonic (A#, C#, D#, E#, G#) takes its notes from that.
The same with C# Major scale - 7 #s.
I think Ableton is treating the F as E# (I believe it is called the ...

Re: External HD startup causing dropout
I had a similar issue, so I changed the external HDD for an external SSD (with M2 Mac mini)
No problems at all since then. I store all the content files on the SSD (e.g. Native Instruments content, Spitfire Audio content and all my sample files as well as all the Ableton packs).
