Re: Complex Pro creating global glitches (even when muted)
nuther bump. are people still seeing this complex pro glitch recently? i had the impression that i've been seeing the issue less often in recent updates but it's still there for me... i thought i'd bring it up again because in my last recorded dj mix (external mixer recording back into live) i also ...

Re: system crashes on Live 8.1.3. and 8.1.4. - please help!
i don't know about the midicore thing, but one thing to check is whether you have the most up to date version of quicktime installed, live uses it in the background to convert mp3 to wav. also check to see that you have enough free space on your hard drive and in your decoding cache for wav versions...

Re: OT: As I am a British citizen 'part of the EU' do I need a..
in general eu citizens have the right to live and work in other eu countries, but you've still got to be aware of any administrative rules that may exist around tax, registering as a resident or being there temporarily just for work etc. best place to get information will probably be the british emb...

Re: Recommend some downtempo house
wolf + lamb have some really interesting releases and third ear recordings are worth a listen for some good old fashioned deep and beatdown style house

Re: Does uploading MP3's online reduce audio quality
soundcloud always streams at 128kbps whatever you uploaded, but if people download they get the same file format that you uploaded

Re: Effects of deleting warp markers on warped audio
sure, as long as you're making your adjustments no probs. Is there a better/faster/easier method? Should I just warp every track myself? auto warp is useful to get you close, but then look at whether your 1.1.1 is correctly set (it usually isn't with auto warp) and place a few warp markers on the g...

Re: Effects of deleting warp markers on warped audio
I have a related question. So I'm importing full songs for setting up a DJ session with electronic music. I'm using the complex pro warping method while importing. Usually there is no problem with beat syncing to the global tempo but sometimes it just doesn't work. When the warping is completely of...

i see more crashes in a fortnight here than i used to see in 5 years in the uk. the same crash happens 3 times a week at the corner outside my house, and that's just when i'm at home  the first few weeks i was in spain i saw 3 lanes of busy traffic clear a lane for an ambulance with its siren o...

Re: Road rage
i lived in aix-en-provence for a while, noticed that my neighbours had beat up old tin cans for driving like arseholes during the week and shiny clean vanity models for taking the family out at the weekend. here in spain the bigger the car the bigger the arsehole is a good rule of thumb. the driving...

Re: shrinking available disk space osx
i just upgraded from 10.4.11 to 10.6.3 and 'saved' 19gb out of 220 used - i thought i'd lost something but it's really just a lot leaner.. i don't think there's an upgrade pack from 10.4 unless you drop 170 euros on the snow leopard/ilife/iwork package though..

Re: If the label no longer exists??
rights would have reverted to the artist, or been sold to another label, depending on the terms of the initial contract and the conditions around the label going out of business. it doesn't mean the track becomes freely available. why not make contact with the artist? you never know what might happe...
