does someone know if this is fixed in ableton 12?
i have this problem as long as i can remember.
it is what keeps me from using automations a lot.

That would be a strange decision. Wouldn't it be better if external sample packs or ableton racks were directly tagged with the correct tags when you download them because they were prepared like this by the creator?

No, you would need to create your own tags in Live for that.

Thanks. Damn, that's a bummer. Why should they do this? Tagging of audio files is not a new thing.
How are the tags saved? Inside the files? Are they readable by other software?

I also have a question about the 12 browser.
I have most of my samples analyzed with mixed in key and they have bpm, key and energy tags. Can live 12 read these tags?
