That's a great idea. I can't get it to work though. I have made a dedicated midi track, dropped the midi clip containing the control message there and set the midi output of the control track to the target track with the VSTi on, but nothing happens

In my arrangements, I often use a midi clip with launch data to change the patch of a device, but when I do so, it disables all automation previously recorded on that channel. I know how to re-enable it and there's a Max device that can automate re-automation but is there a simple way of stopping it ...

I have found LiveSet setlist manager at Max For Live which seems to do what I want. Am waiting for some tech support on getting it working properly and will report back when resolved. Thanks for all assistance
