Re:
dancerchris is 100% spot on. Worth noting though that the cinema industry tends to use 48 or 96 Khz. I have read somewhere that it is a "better" conversion from 88.2 to 48 than it is from 96 to 44.1, so if you are making something that could be used for both purposes 88.2 khz is the way f...

Re: Should I get an ultrawide monitor?
So twas marketing talk after all
Thanks everyone for your replies, I kindof convinced myself that ultrawide was the way to go (for some reason, monkey say monkey do) so I'm really grateful for the insight. I'll look over some more options, including tv screens as was suggested!

Should I get an ultrawide monitor?
I need a new computer monitor, and since I am getting into Ableton more and more I wanted to choose something that really pairs well with music production. I'm seeing ultrawide monitors being recommended a lot, but of course I don't know how much of that is all marketing talk. I have a little more t...

Re: How do I Ignore Mouse Clicks when Recording?
My use case is vocal recording so that advice is already enough!
I come from tutorial recording in which you tend to either enhance clicks massively or remove them completely, so it was my natural instinct to ask, but it makes sense that it wouldn’t really apply in this context. Thank you so much!

Re: How do I Ignore Mouse Clicks when Recording?
When I’m recording with a microphone in Ableton it picks up the sound of mouse clicks and the scroll wheel. It’s soft but it’s something I’d like to avoid, probably through a filter of some kind.
Thanks, great to be here!

How do I Ignore Mouse Clicks when Recording?
Hi there, just a very simple question: how do I ignore mouse clicks when recording?
I know I could probably easily figure out this question by myself, but I just got my hands on Ableton and wanted to see what the forums are all about, how active they are and such, so go easy on me
