Nuendo's Folder Track management is interesting (think of it as the equivalent of Ableton's group management). When the folder is folded, it's possible to work on the object as a solid virtual element of all the components. Today, this is possible with Ableton's time selection, but movements are ...

Or, make Ableton Live multichannel (16 channels could cover many situations?) for tracks, sends and main?
