Wow ok. I'm gonna try not to beat a dead horse then – bye to years of muscle memory. I can see how having two different shortcuts for hiding/viewing the clip view and the device view fits in the new Live 12 vision. It just feels like they could co-exist.

There was quite a discussion about it in the beta.

I did't use the beta, I missed that discussion. The developers didn't want to use the [CMD][ALT][L] shortcut anymore? Thanks for these new shortcuts though, they can be a workaround for now indeed.

Hi, new to the forum – but an advanced Live user. I came here exactly for this problem, I really need the [CMD][ALT][L] shortcut as well. It's essential to my workflow and the way I use Live. Strangely, it is listed in the kb shortcut list for Live 12. And all the other " showing and hiding views ...
