I would like to use, for instance, the Persian Scale. I was excited for the new project wide scale selector, the ability to add custom scales seems like a no-brainer. I hope this is added asap.

The issue isn't about whether tags are good or not, the issue is replacing something that's already working with something new. The solution here and in all examples where this happens is to add the new feature without removing the old and provide an option. It wouldn't be half as bad if the filter ...

I like to be able to quickly scroll around my search results, sometimes to pick something at random. This change slows me down quite a bit.

Just upgraded to 12 - can't add or remove anything from collections

edit: It works on some restarts. A lot of my marked plugs have lost their collection association.
