Working my way through a sound design tutorial, could anyone kindly explain why the waveforms (circled in pink) are reversed/inverted compared to what corresponds in the blue circled waveforms.

I've read there is a way to do this in Live 11, which doesn't work in Live 12. If I delete or rename the Cycling74 folder with Max 8 in it, Live simply creates it again on next launch.
