As the subject line says: exported files are much quieter then they sound in Ableton. I export WAV files, no normalization.
Weirder still: when I import the exported files back to Ableton, the waveforms look perfectly fine, full range, and play (in Ableton) as loud as supposed to.
I am sure I'm ...

Unused files show as missing
Hello
Files which are not used in the project are showing as missing. No practical damage, but quite annoying - Ableton just insists on associating these files with the project, even it is completely empty, not a single track in it.
Is there a way to dissociate files from projects? Or clean it up ...

PreSonus Faderport to edit automation?
Hello everyone
I use Presonus Faderport 16 to record automations. I'm curious if there's a way to use it to edit existing automations.
Now, when I move fader while track is playing, it disables the existing automation and turns on manual control. Instead, I'd love it to make a correction to the ...

Re: Echo longer than note?
The FX idea is cool! hardly cleaner than LFO, but allows even more flexibility. Thanks!

Echo longer than note?
Hi -
I want to have a synced echo that repeats at intervals longer than 1 note. But the max value on the Echo effect dial is 1... Can I?
I mean, I built a workaround with a square LFO on the Dry/Wet dial of the echo, shutting it off every other note, but would love something cleaner...
Thank you!

16 channel mixer for Live
Hello
I'm fairly new to Ableton, hope you can point me to the right direction.
I am using Live with APC40 MKII. However, I gradually discover that, for my purposes, I really only need the mixer part of it. I do need more channels on that mixer though - 16 would be ideal.
Are there devices out ...
