I can't imagine being able to do that without using ClyphX; put the name of the clip in a [] bracket, then add "showclip" after (ie. [discobeat1] showclip). The clip's piano roll will always open whenever it is triggered.

Longtime user, first time poster. I’ve been having fun jamming on a drum kit with Live’s Tempo Follower to clock external synths.
