Re: Sitting on the Fence - Push or Maschine

So... Is the fence still standing or has it collapsed?

Are you seriously suggesting that people shouldn't point out any problems, bugs, or glaring omissions unless they already have the solutions???

Re: Ableton Push: Questions & Answers

Yeah, really surprised they didn't think to implement that on Push but I think it's a limitation of Live itself? Abes should learn from how Maschine does it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdJh4FMNhNE&t=05m20s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsuSiUCek4g&t=52s Don't mind lo.key too much. He s...

Re: wish: hold delete to delete notes in record mode

Ok... So you're saying NI could have paid people as part of a "guerrilla marketing campaign" because some kind of "damage control" needed to be done about Push? I think that's a pretty reasonable possibility, yeah. Hmm... I've been following the Push vs. Maschine discussion and ...

I see... So are we talking about some kind of conspiracy concocted by NI to flood this forum? 8O

Re: wish: hold delete to delete notes in record mode

It's sad to see that Native Instruments is so desperate to make sales this quarter. As far as I can tell they're doing better than they ever have (upwards of 70% revenue growth from their last report) and hiring more developers now that they have full ownership of the company and of course, the mas...

Re: Auditioning Sounds from Push - Is it Possible?

After a lovely 24 hours with Push, some of the honeymoon factor is wearing off and I'm getting more familiar with it's limitations. So far, the biggest limitation (of the negative sort, there are plenty of them that work in your favor) is an inability to audition or hotswap from the controller. Aft...

Re: Sitting on the Fence - Push or Maschine

Here is where Ableton really shines (and the main reason I bought it) I needed fast Middle Eastern tracks to accompany Flamenco. All the ME tracks are in 4/4; most of the Flamenco I like is in 3/4. So I had a huge number of 4/4 loops, and I chopped off the last beat (sometimes the first, etc...) an...

Re: Sitting on the Fence - Push or Maschine

Sorry to ruin your religious zealotry analogy fantasy, deva, but no, I have never thought or said that Maschine "is the only possible way" or that its "perfect, does everything for everyone and so on". I don't think that way about any gear. I'm only speaking for myself though. W...

Re: Sitting on the Fence - Push or Maschine

You can leave religion out of this, deva, although I can tell that it's a subject that's dear to your heart since every other post from you mentions "omniscient god" and "religious cult". Anyway, no, you're the one who has a hard time seeing that a lot of people do think of Masch...
