Backing up sets is easily done by downloading them from the Move Manager.
Uploading them is tricky though: you can export a set from your computer to Note on your phone; then move the set to Cloud from Note; and then find it on Move as a Cloud set.

Agreed!

This would help a lot when working on live performances.

It would be nice to be able to back up sets to a computer. This way you could securely build performances without having to constantly worry about losing anything.

It would then be nice to be able to upload all backed-up sets back ...

I plan on mainly using Ableton Move for live performances spanning multiple sets.

When I create a set on Move and am satisfied with how it sounds, I have to leave this set on my Move and be extra careful that I don't accidentally delete or modify it.

I would love to be able to back up these sets ...

It would be nice to have the value set back to default when quickly double-tapping an encoder knob on Move.
This would work n the same manner as a knob gets set back to its default value upon double-clicking in Live.

It would be nice to be able to solo tracks and samples etc. by pressing SHIFT + MUTE.
