Just out of interest, what style of music is it you're playing live?

Apologies, I originally understood that you wanted to use looper to capture and layer up your guitar. The great thing about Looper is that you can overdub, which you can't do with clips in the session view.

Setting Tempo with Looper
The Looper device only seems to set the tempo if you have Live's playback set to STOP (so you would need to stop playback between your songs).

Otherwise it will take on the tempo that the live set is currently play at.

I've just bought a Push 3 and can't wait to get it - got a couple of questions though.

Can I set the tempo of a project via audio ie my guitar loop?
iow can I make the Push 3 work similar to how I can set the tempo with my own loop with the Looper device (NOT the same as session view looping).
