Here's what I came up with:

[ ] Preset 3: Selected clip to existing simpler - right

[x] Translator 3.0: Rename clip
Incoming: on activation of this preset
Outgoing: Shortcut: Ctrl+R

[x] Translator 3.1: Copy clip name to clipboard
Incoming: on activation of this preset
Outgoing: Shortcut: Ctrl+C ...

I may have just figured it out, but too late/tired to try. Will report back. My new idea is get Bome to do the following after recording the clip:

- Ctrl+R (to rename selected clip)
- Ctrl+C (to copy the name to clipboard)
- Ctrl+F (to focus on search bar of browser)
- Keystrokes to spell the name ...

Just got Ableton Live 12 Suite.

Goal

Have a instrument rack on channel 1
Map the chain selector to one of the macro knobs on the instrument rack
Hook up APC 40 mk2 to Ableton Live
Use the APC 40 device control knobs to switch between long list of instrument rack instruments
Repeat on ...

I can't seem to get this working in Ableton Live suite 12.

I tried the modified troubleshooting script that @rienheuver posted about as well but couldn't see any midi messages getting posted to the Ableton .Log file ?
