Encountering this EXACT issue in my project which I really don't feel is that complicated. About 50 or so tracks, a few groups, various fx and automation. Takes 5+ seconds to move a plugin in the chain, add/delete a plugin, add/delete a midi/audio track, etc exactly described in OP. Every other ...
