Thanks for this. I did not know you have to add the master buss onto the highest value.

Ableton actually knows what the total latency is. You would think that there was a more direct way than searching around and then adding up values. Like it could just tell you somehow.

I tried to type in the value but double clicking just resets it to 0.00
How do I type in the value? Why can I not dial in a decimal place?
Can you confirm you can set the track delay to for example 0.01?

Great so I just look at the last plugin in the chain and look for the largest value.
I expect this to be my master buss. Not in the studio right now but seem to remember I did not see the latency values of plugins on the master buss.

So in the Track delay there are a couple of decimal places. Is it possible to change these? Or am I stuck with integers and no decimal places?
I tried some key modifiers but no luck so far. Hoping to set the exact measured system latency which is 3.07ms

So been looking this up but don't get a definitive answer. So... how do I measure the TOTAL plugin buffer delay. Not individual tracks or plugins but the total amount added to the entire project. All my tracks are going to the main buss.
Not talking about system hardware i/o delay.

The irony is the MIDI that loops back from the VSTs to the Modular is bang on time if I direct monitor lol

So looks like I am going to re-think this and try going via USB from the OXI One to the VSTs and direct MIDI to the Modular external gear to avoid the loop back. Shame as it was really easy ...

Oxi One sequencer MIDI into 8x8 MIDI interface. MIDI interface connected to computer by USB.
I have three MIDI DIN ports coming from the OXI One (via Split) into the MIDI interface and then back out to MIDI ins on the Modular.
