Make sure you're relatively up-to-date with your plugins, check if the plugin versions you're using are compatible with the macOS version you want to move to

These AUs are built into macOS and can't be deleted, an option might be to use VST3 for the plugins you've mentioned and disable AUv2 support in Ableton's preferences

For your second question, there's a handy utility called PlugInfo - https://www.thinkersnacks.com/as-pluginfo.html

In this tool you can sort on Publisher and select the plugins that you want to delete

You can use the Live browser to search by plugin type (eg. VST3) and save that search

Best to reinstall these plugins as they work fine with mine comparible setup

Could you please give an example of a specific plugin? I have MS-20, Polysix and MonoPoly installed so these are the ones I can test. Also make sure you're using the latest version of these plugins.

Is this with Ableton Live 11 or 12?

Might be a plugin issue, any plugins that you're always using?
