My vasectomy was over an hour of excruciating pain that felt like someone was digging and tugging around inside my nutsack with a knitting needle. My wife said she's never heard me scream in pain like that.
Even though I was that 5% that have issues during the big V, I'd still do it all over again ...

I have never enjoyed a forum topic so cool (and funny) as this one. I'm trying not to laugh out loud at work. I can see almost all the points of view on here, but I think that I am quite happy with never having children. I'm 38 and am more sure than ever that chitlin's just ain't for me. If that is ...

Here's what I like to to do...
...here's what I like to do. I like to play all the arpeggios in a given key when improvising over a tune/progression. But to make it more random, I will play the arpeggio with some different notes than might be expected when normally envisioning an arpeggio.

(OT) Anybody got advise on getting T-shirts made for a band?
Yes, I'm curious if anybody's got advice on getting T-shirts made for a band?
Wondering if it is cheaper/better to buy, say 100, t-shirts bulk at, say $2.00 or so a piece from just a t-shirt vendor/mfr. and then have then shipped directly to a screen printer to do the screen printing.

Interference (noise) when using AC power with my laptop...
...That's the problem!
Whenever I have my laptop plugged into the wall via AC power and have my sound being routed to a mixer and amp (P.A.), I get a swishy, airy, white noise type of sound. Not a typical 60Hz AC ground loop, which I've had plenty of. If I pull the plug and run on batteries, it ...

I traded my studio chair for an exercise ball. The bouncing and rolling force me to keep an upright posture. It's hard to slouch. The trick is to be sure the ball it the right size. I can also do extension based stretches when I feel a little fatigued and other therapeutic movements. The best $20 I ...

Using padKONTROL makes the metronome go silent...
Here is what appears to be happening:
I have a kit (of 'one hit' drum samples) assigned to the Drum Rack. If I hit 'record' in LIVE 7 to create a beat and enter some real time midi notes using the metronome as my guide, there is no sound generated by the metronome. However, once I tap a pad on the ...
