re: MBM Remix Project
I'm so happy that people are enjoying this remix project. I created the project for Jack. I've setup a number of Ableton sessions that MBM use in their live shows. This remix project was more fun to create (and more work ) because it included the lesson files. I hope that it helps Ableton novi...

I haven´t worked a long time with GA, but i think you need to hit the stop in GA to stop the internal pattern engine before or while it´s already running inside Live. If this doesn´t the trick then I don´t know, I was on GA v1. I can confirm that this DID work on GA v1. It DOES NOT work on GA v2. A...

Re: Live 4 and Grooveagent
I record a Midiclip using Grooveagent. This works fine. But when I play the recorded clip, grooveagent doesn´t stop at the end of the clip. Does anybody know, how I can reach that grooveagent stops at the end? I'm using GA 2 with Live5. I'm having trouble getting the Groove Agent NOT to play when I...

SIR Delay Compensator is available here:

Anyone know how to use the new delay compensation in Live5 with SIR? I'm confused how to set it up and get it to work correctly. Screenshots would be appreciated.

Loop drag-and-drop from arrangement to session view in Live5
Is it just me of did dragging-and-dropping a looped section from the the arrangement view to the session view used to automatically set the loop in and out points? I swear that I used to do that in Live4 and it was a god-send when you needed to loop sections from a multi-track source! Example: I rec...

I use Culture AU in live 5, no problems up to now. What's not working when you use culture? I get a constant sine wave as soon as midi data is sent to culture. Can you post a small .als file or screenshot that shows how you have Culture set up with Live 5? Maybe I don't have it set up correctly. BT...

Yellow Tools Culture + Live 5
I'm unable to get these two to play together. I see here on the forum that Live 4 and YTC did not work together but was hoping that with Live 5's additional MIDI capabilities that they might get along. Anyone have any idea what's going on here?

good tip. I started off using a similar method and then came up with another way to chop up long songs for looped sections. I was actually coming from the other direction than you, I received eight mono tracks of finished material from ADATs to be sliced up into sections. I beat-aligned these long t...

I do something similar to peeddroo, but different I dupe the clip .. on the dupe I use a volume controller edit to kill off the loop before where I want the clip to sound (ie: silent until beat 14 ) then I put a follow action on this to switch over to the full volume version. I find setting the dup...
