Re: midi out from VSTi
Ok, how's this: will the new version of Live be able to utilize MIDI ouput from VSTi's? Yes, it does. You've get a omni MIDI Out in the routing choosers for every VST plug-in that supports MIDI out. Frank Awesome. Thanks very much. This info should be added to your release feature. I think it will ...

midi out from VSTi
I really was hoping to be able to utilize the output of VSTi's. Being able to record the patterns of the Groove Agent into a MIDI track for further tweaking and then using another VSTi like the Drumkit from Hell for playback would be a big plus for Live. The other feature upgrades are unbelievable, ...

making a vocal comp with track layers
Perhaps what Architect is talking about here is Nuendo's ability to layer multiple takes on the same track. If so, I agree - track layers would be a very helpful to Live's arrangement view. In addition to Nuendo, I believe that there are other DAW apps like Sonar 4 with this feature. Imagine that yo...

it seems like you are mostly using the arranger view because you are used to it from protools. take a good look at the session view for a few reasons: 1 - you will find it much more of a creative process to take pieces from here and there in all of your song's clips, not just the areas you have reco...

I'd like to have multiple filter sweeps, delay times/feedback, etc on one knob. Another example: Performing live, I like to stay in the Session view. I want the intro of the song to develop automatically while I am playing some lines, loading another computer, whatever. The intro builds from a row o...

control mutliple live clips/parameters with one button?
tylast- Would you use the same two utilities to control multiple parameters in Live with a single button? Occasionally, I would really like to start multiple session clips that aren't on the same row with a single button. I like both of these Firefox units but they are pretty expensive before shippi...

MIDI routing
I agree, I think that internal MIDI routing is the most glaring feature that is absent from an otherwise perfect piece of software.Kodama wrote:Alex, will there be an update soon that allows sending midi data from one plug to another?

Keystation Pro 88 downfalls
I have a general issue with uploading the file to my pro 88 from Enigma. Get the error message: "Cannot send keystation pro88 user bank to the device because it is the wrong type of bank". Do you know what that means? Everytime I get that error it means that the computer can't communicate...

Keystation Pro 88 presets
Thanks gsbe for the helpfull suggestion. I have trouble in program enigma, would you be able to send me a copy of the Enigma preset? You really should get to know the program, studio63. I agree that programming the KSP88 is complicated. The Enigma program helps quite a bit but it is still confusing...
