Will there be a free bundled Live Lite 7????
I have been using Live Lite for a while to compliment other software. In the past, Ableton has provided free Lite upgrades latest version of Live. Does anyone know if there are plans for Live Lite 7?

There is no doubt the Logic Studio is a great value for all that you get (I don't think anyone can argue with that). There is one very important thing to keep in mind with the Live costs...the new instruments are in partnership with other companies (i.e., AAS). This means that a portion of the money...

I would recommend the Saffire LE all the way. It has excellent preamps and no issues with bus powering (like some of the others on your list). It comes with some excellent sounding VST effects as well. For my use, the original Saffire was too limited as far as inputs go, but the built in DSP for the...

I believe you have to have a third-party application to do it. But usually it is not necessary (except in extreme circumstances). Re: Live 6.0.3 on Windows Vista
Support of native Vista features -------------------------------- Windows Vista provides several new technologies that could be useful for Live - for instance, a new audio I/O architecture. We are planning to support such native Vista features within this year. Kind Regards /Alex Just curious what ...

I have been waiting over a week - and at this point am giving up hope that I will get any help with my issue. Luckily Cakewalk Sonar works flawlessly for me - so I can keep my work moving under that program. (Hate to say this, but maybe I will just continue with Sonar since it has now become the eas...

Live 6 + Creamware Scope XTC Synths = MIDI Issues
The issue appears to be MIDI overload from within Live causing jumbled and delayed MIDI being sent to the Creamware DSP synths. I believe it is an issue with how Live is communicating with the Creamware MIDI driver. I tested to see if it was something with the Creamware card by trying a similar setu...

I am not currently using a Mac for audio, but, just as you would on a Windows machine, I would expect that you should turn off any devices you are not using (e.g., wireless networking, bluetooth, ethernet, iSight camera, etc.) to free up system resources that may get diverted to those devices and av...
