By the way, how do we know if we have the older or newer oxyg8?

I'd repeat what Blanco said - but with a few limitations:

- cannot boot up in os 9.2 with the usb audio plugged in. For some reason you have to wait until the os boots beofre plugging in otherwise the unit wont respond and crashes the OS.

- latency is a bit slow when recording into live. I'm not ...

:idea: What do you think of a nudge tool? While djing you could bump ableton live into sync with the track you are playing. This would make it much easier to start a loop or sample ontime with a records that\'s playing.
