No, he is talking about doing 128's not slicing or dropping single samples. Default presets could still be a viable option. No, that's the default for the empty Simpler dragged or double clicked to a midi track from the instruments category in the Live browser.

Setup simpler to your preferences. Right click the simpler, select save as default preset.

Re: KUSH plugins not working with Ableton Live 9.2.
UBK-1 crashes live 9.2 every time I open it or if ableton scans it as a new plugin. I have all of the others and they SEEM to be working but I'm rolling back to 9.1.10 for a couple months anyways.

Re: What 3rd Party Reverb do you use in Live?
I have been on somewhat of a reverb search lately and the ones that I like the most are Exponential Audios Phoenixverb and R2. After that I'm liking all the Valhalla stuff, Aether, Verberate, and Ultraverb. If your after good early reflections Phonexverb, R2, and Aether kill it. If your more after t...

Re: why so many stuck/hung notes with MIDI?
I would get an occasional hung note with my hardware synth on previous Live versions. Since Live 9 I've been getting hung notes on hardware and now plugins several times per session. Clicking the stop button a couple times clears it.

Re: Dynamic sidechain EQ?
Here's a few things to try. You will need max for live for the first one. Duplicate your track and put a bandpass filter on the duplicate, or make a rack that's similar. Center the bandpass around the frequencies you are having trouble with, you may even want to boost them. Turn duplicate track audi...

Re: Live 9.0.4 Crashing When Selecting Output
For me it is a problem with the plugins I'm using. You can uninstall and reinstall live and that should take care of it, kind of a pain though. I also got it to work by deleting all of the plugins out of the set and saving, also not ideal. Live 9 does not like plugins : (

Live 9.0.4 Crashing When Selecting Output
Hello, I'm on a late 2011 MBP with OSX 10.7. Live 9.0.4 has been frequently crashing when I close it out. It crashed the last time I closed it and now when it comes back up audio is disabled. I typically use a MOTU 828 mk3 but all outputs cause Live to crash when selected. I've sent a request to tec...

Re: How would I go about hooking up a Moog LPF
If you wanted stereo processing you would need two of them, abletons autofilter is in stereo/mono. You can make stereo tracks mono with the utility device and the spread parameter. Do this to send out mono audio to the Moog filter. Once you've brought it back in you can make it stereo again through ...

Re: How would I go about hooking up a Moog LPF
You can use an external instrument device. In the device you'll send audio to an output on the babyface which you'll connect to the input on the fooger. You'll then select an input on the babyface which you'll connect to the output of the fooger. If you want more control get yourself something like ...
