Hey contakt321, At my current job I'm using both a Wacom tablet and a mighty mouse. We have three mac work stations and 1 mouse died already after only being used for 6 months. My colleague's mouse is having problems all the time (no scrolling at random times). The tablet is ideal for the work I do ...

I was looking at those new Eee laptops and I was wondering then already if it would be possible to run Ableton on Linux... appearantly it is! Is it running smoothly? Or did you conveniently placed the Control Center Panel over the CPU meter to hide you can only run 1 audio track and 1 midi track, ma...

Headphones
Hi, I'm using some cheapass headphones, but recently I started recording stuff myself, and I can hear the sound on the headphones softly being re-recorded on the new track. So now I'm looking for some new (~under €100) headphones. Anybody has any suggestions? I'm not really using them for mixing, on...

Live 7
Dude, If you have Live 7 you can just rightclick on a sample loaded as a clip, and slice it up... I'd like using the warp markers, since you can make very precise slices! Works like a charm...

Hey Fhlouz, I think you just have to make sure you assign each pad to a single clip! So pad one is assigned to your drum kick and pad two to the pianosample etc... Or How I would do it myself: Load up a Drum Rack and place different samples into the different pads in the drumrack. Make sure they are...

Problem Solved
Hey Guys,
Thanks for all your help. I've been able to solve the problem... It was indeed the settings of my soundcard and nothing in Live or so!
Thanks again,
UnCL0NED

External effects
Hey, yesterday I was cleaning up my room and stumbled across some effects I still have from when I was playing electric guitar in a band. I was thinking of using these effects on some of the synths in Live. I tried all night figuring out how to have the sound run through the effects back into the sa...

Clips
Dude, if you want to mess your drums up but still want a fair amount of control over it, put some parts of drumloops in different clips, maybe even different lengths or different parts of the same loop (up to 1 beat), on one track and randomise the follow ups. Just let x clips play reverse / slow te...

Hey oxo, I would just like to thank you for sharing this info with us. I recently bought a Edirol PCR 800 and I wasn't very content with the midi config that Roland put on their own website. But the automaps you provided were just what I wanted. It is a shame that the trackarmbuttons are not working...

No Miditrack using CMD+SHIFT+T
Hey, I'm used to using shortcuts, but since I upgraded to Live 7 from Live 6 I can't seem use CMD+SHIFT+T to add a midi track.
Of course I can work around by just dragging the instruments in, but since this is a habit from before, I keep coming across it!
Anyone experiences the same problem?
