Re: Rockband 3 Fender mustang Pro guitar (midi)
Hey,
I haven't figured this out yet but I've come across this article from "createdigitalmusic.com", here's the link
http://createdigitalmusic.com/2010/10/rock-band-3-fender-mustang-pro-midi/ . It explains a lot about the controller and what it can as a midi controller. It looks like one way to ...

Rockband 3 Fender mustang Pro guitar (midi)
Hey,
I just bought this mad catz controller for rock band 3 (Wii) hoping it would work with Ableton as well to justify the price ($169 cad) and to my astonishment, it works. I plugged the guitar controller into my Novation remote 25sl (midi port 1, IN) using a midi chord and dropped in a grand ...

Re: Tune Live to 432,10 Hz (instead of 440) ???
Greetings,
I have just recorded my first song in 432 hz using ableton 8 suite. I ended up retuning all my stringed instruments to A 432 hz (acoustic guitars), by putting on a heavier gage string (medium, d'addario exp17) which worked very well. You can either use the tone frequency selector under ...

FM8 Demo
Oh by the way, you can also assign the morph x& y in the drop down menu in the plugin once loaded in Ableton from your plugin menu, and then use your moust to manipulate. I tried to assign the x/y touch pad on my novation remote sl, but it would crash the automap and freeze. I guess since FM8 has no ...

FM8 Demo
Just wanted to share that I downloaded the FM8 demo from the Native Instruments web sight. Really cool sounds and morrphing. I wanted to use this to record synth sounds into Ableton and in the demo mode you are limited to use, so what I did was loaded it as an AU plugin in a midi track and then sent ...

Best interface
I've been using a Konnekt 24D, way cool. T.C. electronic also makes a Live version for on the stage live use. Check out their web sight and read the reviews (this is a firewire interface). I,m using this with an intel mac and novation remote 25sl. It just all works. Paid about $650 Canandian for ...
