Hi I'm trying to set up Live to record a series of 4 bar audio clips of some jamming i'm doing with some external gear. Is is possible to set up a follow action to record a slot for four bars, then move to the next available slot and begin recording that, ending up with a bunch of clips in one audio...

haha yeah it's either bad house or noise mashups. so weird when you can do so much more with it.

Interesting...weird that it always seems to guess exactly double though. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong in Ableton, I'll check out the Octatrack site too. Thanks!

Hi I am using Ableton to make loops to bring into Octatrack. Works great, except all my loops are twice the BPM they should be when they get into Octatrack. I'm exporting the loop with the audio reference file from Ableton...I'm sure its something simple I'm doing wrong...any ideas? Thanks in advanc...

As for a conclusion after doing this, I would say that we have so much available to us that it's easy to scrap a track after screwing with it for an hour and just start a new one, but I think I proved to myself that I can make something out of anything, with a bit of work...
