i have been experiencing the same problem. live3, tibook 667, 10.2.8, 512mb, rme multiface. 4-5 second dropouts. tried every suggested solution. i dont think it is related to cpu, ram, hd space or vst plugins: i run live only as a multi fx processor. i dont use clips, just the ableton fx on signals ...

tempo recording
yes, tempo recording would be a welcome feature. in order to record global changes like tempo there will have to be something like a master track. another thing that bothers me is that the tempo can only be increased by 1 bpm steps using the keyboard. you can enter 10ths and 100ths only by typing th...

getting a hot level on dig output
hello, when i stream the output of live to a dat recorder via the the s/pdif output of my soundcard i notice there is quite a lot of headroom [about 10db]. when i tried to ajust the level within live to make it output at just under 0db [read from the meters of the dat recorder] the sound started to ...

motormix support
i sure hope so! but currently live does not even support midi out, so bi directional communication is out of the question. still, the motormix makes a great controller for live... it has a very clear layout and the faders and rotary knobs can be switched to different functions in an instant.

cm motormix
hi christoph, i have used the motormix and it is the best controller i know. but it will only be used to its full potential combined with applications that support bi-directional communication. [protools, sounddiver, kyma etc] the application needs to be able send it's parameter settings back to the...

start/stop clip
the play button on each clip is not only used to start a clip but also to return to zero. so it can be used to make a long loop shorter which to me is an essential feature.

support for motormix?
i\\\'d say: the cm motormix. it\\\'s more expensive than most midicontrollers but it mimicks the layout of live perfectly. of course it would require live to support bidirectional communication...

midi clock out
I think that Live should also send Midi sync on the Midi outports. it would be great to sync my synth's arpeggiators to Live!
definitely! using live as a masterclock is on the top of my list. i have tried to slave it to external clocks. using different setups, m...
