oh boy .. this makes me so mad that im going to buy the upgrade and not use it for a year. thumbs nose.

Ok i was wrong before. need to create agregate device.from two cards for this. I am using motu traveler. create device from internal and motu.

open agregate device editor.

create device from internal and motu

select use clock from internal check both devices check resample on both devices ...

two years in signal chain -- so far so good. Firewire cable must have secure connection or there is horrendus digital klank when connections are gapped. That is the only coompaint and it is user determined.

Ive done little development on my work with live 6. I am noticing that it my button to launch my editor doesn't show up in the sample box as it did in five. any-one care to set me straight.. thank you!
