Ableton Forum

Could one of the guys from Ableton that read these forums kindly respond to this thread? I've seen at least 3 other people that have posted with this exact same problem and no one from Ableton seems to want to give us any answer or help.... Can you please respond?

Where did you find version .10???? I need it SO badly because apparently Ableton doesn't care enough about this MAJOR glitch in .14 to post an update... That way they make us all wait and have to upgrade to Live 8.

So where did you find it?? I need it for Mac...

I upgraded a couple of weeks ago to 7.0.14 from the previous version and now I'm having horrible crackling/distortion of all audio coming from Live. It was not doing this until I upgraded. After playing in a Live set for a little while, it just starts crackling whenever audio from a clip is playing ...

I posted about this myself the other day. It happens all the time with my Trigger Finger. I have to unplug it and plug it back into the USB port and it starts working again. Everyone said to get a powered USB hub, and that it was a power issue. But I take a different view on the problems with Live ...

I had the same problem when I got mine. It's preset 10 on the Trigger Finger.

Well the power isn't going off to the Trigger Finger. The display stays on and everything. It's just like it loses communication.........

your "problem" sounds normal. MTC always has a pick-up lag, without the lag it would be innacurate.

You should e.g. start your music on bar 9 and play from bar 8 and have the same BPM in both computers.

You should also slave the audioclocks if you want to avoid hiccups/discontinuities if ...

Hoonboy's problem sounds more like a latency problem.

I have successfuly synced Live 7 to my Korg 01W Workstation. Live's was slaved to the 01W and playback was started via the 01W's inbuild sequencer/play-button. This launched a Midi clip in Live which in turn played the 01W via Midi and recorded ...

i'm getting the same sort of problem and i'm not even trying to midi sync. when i press play the counter starts but the audio arrives at the speakers about a beat later :(

Yeah but I shouldn't have to go buy a freakin' midi time piece. If Live would work like it's supposed to there wouldn't be a problem. Is this a bug? Anyone have this same problem?????
