i send the question to the Ableton support.. maybe they know why

i'm wondering why the AUNetReceive is not showing up. AUNetSend is and it's working.
NetReceive shows up in other DAWs (Reaper, Luna) and works (receives audio from Live)

Does anyone know maybe a trick to make it work in Ableton Live?

i have the same issue - I will not do a clean install of my OS. I prefer waiting for a real solution.

i also tried removing the quarantine attribute on max ( xattr -c -r /Applications/Max.app )
but it didn't help

all my M4L plugins don't work anymore

installing the latest java-runtime also doesn't change anything

Live 9.7.4 works fine with High Sierra. I'm using Ableton Live 9.74b3 with macOs10.13 and each time I start it the system asks for a password as "Ableton Live tries to change something" anyone else has this issue? I think it appeared after installing java6-runtime (I think needed for max)...

i was very dissapointed seeing L9 final release had no retina support. Dear Ableton crew: Will that come soonish?

i noticed that little but a bit annoying issue when i exit L9 it doesn't save the current state of the UI anymore - for instance wich VST/AU folders are open or the options for showing I/Os
