Re: Sync Korg SQ-1 to Ableton - Please help
Ahh, so maybe two way communication is not supported. Perhaps worth a suggestion to Korg as it seems like a nice idea to have save an extra interface/cable.

Re: Sync Korg SQ-1 to Ableton - Please help
This is on similar subject but different. Does anyone know if it possible for Live to send tempo to the SQ-1 while the SQ-1 sends a sequence to Live BOTH over USB at the same time? It seems like it wants to do one or the other but maybe I'm missing something straight forward.

[awi] 8.0b10 Looper Clicks
So I have been hearing these intermittant ticks/clicks when using the Looper on seemingly smooth loops when going form forward to reverse or vice versa. What is weird is that it does not seem to be part of the loop and will sometimes stop if you leave it going in one direction for a bar or two. I am...

I'll second the vote for the Axe Fx. Also if you are looking at small tube amps you might consider one by a fellow named Stephenson called the Stage Hog. in my opinion a little more featured than the Nano and has the advantage that you can run it without a load. cheers http://www.stephensonamps.com/...

And another little workaround, Add an effect rack. Put two Utility Effects in the rack add the Looper to one of these. Map the Gain in each Utility to a macro. Reverse the Min/Max of one of the Gains. Now when you toggle the Macro volume should go up on one Utility and down on the other. Now you onl...

Can you tell us more about your setup? If you are using effects (like delay) pre-record one trick is to put the effect after your Audio input so that the trails aren't cut off. Especially if these are washy sounds since most likely your instrument itself is not the thing with the long tail (unless y...

[frs]Looper white noise bug
Okay so I have Looper on Return A with an instance of Analog (Arp/Ping Pong/Simple Delay/ Frequency Shifter/Mutiband dynamics/Compressor) on track 2 sending Looper a sort sequence. I record with looper. When Looper plays back I get a VERY loud white noise as part of the loop. If I use the Drag Me to...

Actually the truth isn't all that interesting. Roland/Boss have a policy where by they will continue to make something as long as it sells (hence the DS-1 is still in production). Once they discontinue something they will not as corporate policy reissue it no matter how many requests they get. Sad r...
