strange topic in here... as i'm one of the 'old style' bass players, and i'm into computers since c64, my thoughts to this discussion: 1st) sound comes from your fingers & your ears [if you play a real instrument] 2nd) sound comes from your imagination [putting sounds 2gether on a computer] 3rd)...

it works on my pb (g3).

1. you MUST use oms!
2. make shure oms detects the mt4
3. save oms setup, eg as "my mt4"
4. reboot (always useful)
5. start live, mt4 should be in the prefs.

In a freeze situation, there's no need for input as the reverb is "frozen", processing the same echoes. hi Alex, hmmm, how can u hear the reverb when it is shut down for cpu-reasons??? (regardless of the input, which is, as you say, not necessary for an frozen reverb...) but, don't get me...

hmmm, adding xtra time before the fx is cutoff seems to be complicated: how can u predict the lenght of the fx? if an delay is in heavy feedback, for example??? or reverb with infinit reverb time (like a freeze...) i don't think this could work... but: FREEING UP CPU-LOAD would be a GREAT thing, whe...

hmmm, i just found out, that u have to set the desired tempo in live first, then switch to external clock. no other way seems to work, if ich change the external tempo, live does not respond to this... but it works if u use live via rewire (tested with logic), tempo changes as u change the logic tem...
